Sugar cane takes “2-4 years to harvest”?
All my information tells me it takes from 11 months up to absolute maximum 2 years to harvest sugar cane.
Can you check if Cedric is correct and let me know?

Dear Martyn,
Risk Watchdog chased Cedric up with your comment. Here is what he had to say for himself:
“My apologies. I realised my mistake afterwards as I confused two things. Depending on agricultural practice you can harvest several cycles with one planting. Estimates vary, but best practice assume between 2-4, depending on the region and yield. However, as you highlighted, the typical crop will take between 11-14 months, but maximum of two years, depending on where it is grown.”
I hope this answers your question.
