Sugar prices have steadily weakened since they peaked at USc30.40/lb in early February, and are currently trading at USc24.60/lb. Sugar has already been the star performer among agricultural commodities in 2009, but Risk Watchdog believes that the year-long ascent in prices could have further to run.
